Archiving Policy
The International Journal of Climate Governance Research (IJCGR) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published content. The journal recognizes the importance of reliable digital archiving to guarantee that scholarly works remain permanently available to the academic community and the public.
IJCGR ensures digital preservation of its published content through multiple archiving strategies, including storage in the journal’s official online platform and backup systems. The journal also supports archiving in external repositories and indexing services to enhance visibility and long-term access.
Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit versions of their published articles (such as the accepted manuscript or published version, depending on publisher policy) in institutional repositories, subject-based repositories, or other academic platforms, provided proper citation to the original publication in IJCGR is included.
The journal also supports archiving initiatives such as LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS, where applicable, to ensure redundancy and long-term preservation of published content.
In the event of platform discontinuation or technical failure, IJCGR is committed to maintaining access to its published content through trusted archival systems and partner repositories.
By implementing this Archiving Policy, IJCGR ensures the permanence, reliability, and continued accessibility of scholarly publications in the field of climate governance and sustainability research.
